Refer A Friend Program – Terms & Conditions

IQ Fiber (“we”, “IQ Fiber” or “Company”) is offering existing customers the opportunity to refer friends by participating in the IQ Fiber Refer a Friend Program (the “Program”).  The following terms and conditions (“Program Terms”) apply to the Program. 

  1. Binding Agreement. By participating in the Program, you agree to be bound by the Program Terms.  The Program is subject to IQ Fiber’s Terms of Use unless specifically stated otherwise in the Program Terms.  IQ Fiber’s Terms of Use can be found at https://www.iqfiber.com/terms-of-use.  All of the Company’s decisions are final and binding. The Program cannot be combined with any other reward programs or special offers. 
  2. Privacy. The personal information collected, processed and used as part of the Program will be used in accordance with IQ Fiber’s Privacy Policy, which can be found at https://www.iqfiber.com/privacy-policy. 
  3. How the Program Works. You must be a legal resident of the United States of America, at least 18 years old, and a current IQ Fiber customer in good standing to participate in the Program. To make a referral under the Program, log in to your account portal and follow the on-screen instructions to refer friends, family members, colleagues or businesses.  To qualify for a reward under the Program, the referred party must place an order with IQ Fiber, have service installed, make their first payment, and remain installed through their first renewal date. 
  4. Restrictions. No one shall use the Program to violate any law, infringe or violate the rights of any third party, or otherwise act in a manner that is deemed harassing, harmful, illegal, hateful, obscene or outside the spirit and intent of the Program. In the event, the Company determines, in its sole discretion, that the Program is or has been used in such a manner, the Company shall have the absolute right to disqualify such user and rescind any Program rewards.  Employees of the Company are not eligible to participate. 
  5. Rewards. When the referred party completes the conditions stated above, both the referrer account and referred party account will receive an email confirming a $50 service credit. Rewards are subject to verification by the Company, in its sole discretion. The Company may delay a reward for the purposes of investigation. The Company may also refuse to verify and process any transaction for any reason. Rewards may be considered taxable income. The IRS may consider rewards taxable income if the total value of your rewards meets applicable IRS reporting thresholds.  If your rewards meet IRS thresholds, we may be required to issue you a Form 1099. You are responsible for any taxes associated with your rewards.
  6. Liability.  Notwithstanding IQ Fiber’s Terms of Use,  TO THE FULLEST EXTENT POSSIBLE BY LAW, THE COMPANY’S MAXIMUM LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROGRAM, REGARDLESS OF THE CAUSE OF ACTION (WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, BREACH OF WARRANTY, OR OTHERWISE), WILL NOT EXCEED $100. 
  7. Bulk Distribution (“Spam”).  Referrals must be created and distributed in a personal manner that is appropriate and customary for communications with friends, colleagues, family members and businesses. By submitting any email address as part of the Program, the referrer represents to IQ Fiber that he/she has the appropriate permission and consent to make such submission. Bulk email distribution, distribution to strangers, or any other use of the Program in a manner that is not promoted is expressly prohibited and may be grounds for immediate termination and further legal action. The Company has no obligation to monitor the Program or any communications; however, the Company may choose to do so and block any email messages, remove any such content, or prohibit any use of the Program. Referrers who do not comply with the law, including anti-spam laws, are obligated to indemnify the Company against any liabilities, costs and expenses it incurs as a result of or in connection with such spam. 
  8. Right to Cancel, Modify or Terminate. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to cancel, modify or terminate the Program at any time for any reason. We reserve the right to disqualify any person at any time from participation in the Program if he/she does not comply with any of the Program Terms.
