IQ Fiber Selects Space for Northeast Florida Headquarters

Growing fiber-optic start-up will move to space in April 2022

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., December 20, 2021 – IQ Fiber, Northeast Florida’s only local residential fiber-optic internet service provider, announces it has selected a home for its Jacksonville headquarters. The company has leased the former iMethods office space at 8787 Perimeter Park Blvd. CHINT Properties owns the location which includes 6,600 square feet of space which will house IQ Fiber’s management, engineering, and customer contact divisions. The company will move to the space in early 2022.

IQ Fiber, officially launched in September 2021 with the closing of its initial private equity funding, is a new residential fiber-optic internet provider with a target of serving over 60,000 homes across Northeast Florida in the first phase of its infrastructure deployment.

“We have been ramping up quickly, growing our team and completing our network design,” said IQ Fiber CEO Ted Schremp. “Selecting and securing adequate office space for our rapidly growing operations was paramount to building our company foundation as we focus on serving customers in early 2022.”

IQ Fiber is currently finalizing its network plans and will soon launch infrastructure projects across several neighborhoods in Jacksonville. IQ Fiber seeks to bring high-speed, state-of-the-art 100% fiber-optic network internet to areas of Northeast Florida that do not currently have access to modern, symmetrical broadband services. In addition, IQ Fiber is hiring local management, field and support staff.
